About

I'm a Brazilian-Italian developer who likes systems that have to work in the real world: billing that can't fail, banking files that have to match to the cent, and servers that need to stay up. Since December 2023 I've been at Nuvola Host, where I lead the development department and mentor two junior developers.

My day-to-day spans two very different worlds. On one side, maintaining and improving a legacy ERP written in PHP 5.5 — the kind of codebase where every change matters because real companies depend on it daily. On the other, building new products from scratch with Laravel, React and React Native.

I'm also comfortable below the application layer: Linux servers, Apache, DNS, deployments and CI/CD pipelines. Working at a hosting company means the infrastructure is never someone else's problem.

Full Stack Developer / Tech Lead · Nuvola Host

  • Lead the development department, coordinating the technical area and mentoring two junior developers.
  • Maintain and evolve a legacy ERP (PHP 5.5, jQuery, MySQL) used daily by client companies, with a focus on performance and usability.
  • Built integrations with payment gateways and banks — Safe2Pay, Banco do Brasil, Banco Inter and Sicredi — via APIs and CNAB remittance/return files.
  • Develop mobile apps in React Native backed by Laravel APIs.
  • Support customized management systems for internet service providers (ISPs).

  • Develop and maintain online stores and the store-owner management dashboard (PHP 7.1, jQuery, MySQL).
  • Integrated payment gateways: Asaas, Safe2Pay, Pagar.me and Vindi/Yapay.
  • Built a subscription billing system with recurring credit card charges and a points-based rewards program.
  • Basic maintenance of AWS infrastructure and design of new store templates.

A legacy ERP built on PHP 5.5 that client companies use every day for sales, billing and inventory. I keep it stable, profile and fix performance bottlenecks, and gradually improve usability without breaking workflows people rely on.

Banking & payment integrations

Integrations with Banco do Brasil, Banco Inter, Sicredi and Safe2Pay — boleto issuance, payment reconciliation and CNAB remittance/return file processing. Code where a one-cent mismatch is a bug report from a real accountant.

Mobile apps with Laravel backends

Cross-platform mobile applications built in React Native, fully integrated with REST APIs in Laravel — authentication, push notifications and offline-friendly data flows, from database schema to the app store build.
